How do I Install my Walbro 255 fuel pump?
Never changed out my fuel pump before, i have a 91 civic Si with a b18. My fuel pump went out on me yesterday, it wouldn't kick on, let it sit for about 20 minutes and it worked again, then next time i went to start it, nothing and I sat trying it for quite a while. So far I have checked relay and connection under back seat, the relay is working properly and was just replaced, just no hum from the pump. A guy was selling a brand new walbro 255 on Craigslist, so I snagged it for a good price.
So is there a way to do it without dropping the tank? I know someone somewhere once said something about it, but obviously I don't have any clue.
Does anyone have a link to a video or walk through?
If there is something else I should check before changing it altogether? Please let me know.
Thanks a ton!!

DO IT ON ALL FOURS

On 88-91' you have to drop the tank... removing the seat and plate cover is just the 92+ models... It's extremely basic and easy to do... Do yourself a favor and purchase a repair manual...

before changing your pump make sure its getting power. you can do this by removing the rear lower seat. once its removed you will see were the wires go to the fuel pump.
the yellow/black wire is the power wire for your fuel pump. the problem could be with your main relay if your not getting power to the pump.
click it below this will help you install your pump.

I have a haynes manual... loaned it to a friend though ha ha! The relay is fine, clicks twice, engine light goes off, I just replaced it a few months ago. I'll check the power tomorrow hopefully. I've heard it's a pretty tedious job dropping the tank.

Not that bad... Protective cover for fuel lines, hose clamps for filler neck hoses, wiring harness on sending unit and fuel pump, "J" bolts, drop tank, remove fuel pump... It's pretty easy and is about an hour job, maybe 2-3 if you are slow...

Friends don't let friends use Haynes manuals.
Make sure you install it to the correct depth. Quite a few people install them wrong and are unable to pump fuel if the tank is less than 1/4 full. Installed correctly will be like stock and allow you to use all the fuel in tank.

Having an issue with this on the 1992 Integra GSR.
The stock fuel pump has two different connectors plugging into the pump, and my WALBRO has one connector on it.
Every DIY I see involves the correct fuel pump (the Walbro I have) but no one's stock pump wiring looks like mine, that I've seen.
Do I need a different Walbro than other b-series hondas?
Do I need to just figure out the pinout for it?

Stock one on the left, Walbro 255 on the right. How do I connect this thing??!
