ok d15b2 is out of the dx's rite// anyways u would like to purchase either a d15b head or a civic si/ex head then u will need to modify ur harness adding the vtec applications then buy any vtec ecu get a p28 its a good ecu very easy iv done a mini me swap in a ef si with a vtec head took us 3 days u feel the burst after 6 grand its nice single cam gives a good fight

it's for a d16a6 bottom end and z6/y8 head. close enough to what you're looking for...same concept. You can keep your d15b2 bottom end, and put on a sohc vtec head like a d16z6 or a d16y8 head. That site provides a decent walkthrough and the parts you'd need.

A lot of people say the y8(96-00) head flows better, but a z6(92-95 civic ex coupe/si hatch) would work just as well. Work on the MPFI-dpfi Swap first before worrying about the vtec bs. switching over to mpfi alone will add 10-15, and then the mini-me will add another 20
