Wonder why that happened.Your first time there is so they can see the problem and then order the belts for your car. Then they get in touch with ya when they arrive.

OR how about the thought of someone else taking your interior **** all apart? U know they wont be as gentle as the owner would. I would take all the panels out yourself, then take it in...oh and i think u should be able to make an appointment.</TD></TR></TABLE>
ok i'll take your advice. I have an appoinment at 8:30 to drop the car off. He said it takes 4 hrs and i don't believe that. I'm still more worried about someone driving it than the interior. I have an act hd/ss clutch, lightweight flywheel, and an aftermarket tb with a stiff spring. They won't know how to drive it.
I'm going to see if i can just get the belts and install them myself.
That way it's a win win situation. Honda won't touch my car and they'll save on labor.

I feel ya...i cant stand takin my car in to get a smog check.
I doubt they will let u put them in (probably going to be a liability thing) and plus, they are probably gonna want the old belts back. Thee ol' "i'll bring u back my old ones when im done" may not work. But give it a shot and let me know for future reference.

Seat Belt Limited Warranty
While seat belts cannot completely
remove the possibility of injury, they
do provide a very significant level of
protection when used properly.
Honda believes the best way to
enhance your safety is to use your
seat belt. To encourage their use, the
seat belts should always be in good
operating condition.
Time Period
This warranty continues for the
useful life of the vehicle.
Warranty Coverage
Honda will repair or replace, at its
option, any Honda seat belt
component that fails to function
properly during normal use. This
includes all parts and labor charges.
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
• Replacement of a properly functioning
seat belt assembly
strictly for cosmetic or comfort
reasons.
• Failure caused by abuse,
alteration, accidental damage,
misuse, or malfunction resulting
from a collision
