Got a tach cluster... Now what?
Ok got a tach cluster out of a 89 Civic four door. I have the plain cluster and was wondering if this should just bolt/plug right in and have everything work. Since my car only has 109,000 miles, i would like to know if i could also just swap out the speedometer.

Theyre not the same, the non-tach speedo has a little more material onb the outside, it'll cover one of your turn signal lights. Just take a dremel and trim it down and it'll fit.

Re: (blah13)
Thank you all for your great wisdom. I will let you know how it all works out as soon as i get time to do it.... By the way How many screws should I need to take out of the dash to get the cluster out? And one more question. I bought a clock with a dash piece from a 90 Civic EX Now I know the plastic bezel is not the same between my 89 and the 90 BUT can I still use the clock as presently I do not have one ( have a dummy space for it where one would have been) Thanks!!!

Re: (89DXDann)
4 screws to get to the cluster itself...then 4 more screws to remove the actual cluster...the clock goes in the same place as the "dummy plate" is now...just remove the clock from the other bezel and replace the "dummy plate" with the clock
