Re: Fog light help!
i offered to have these manufactured. i asked here on the forum and according to the poll, no one wanted to pay more than $50 for a set of usdm style brackets. then i went to a local shop n asked how much to make duplicates, because honestly the look simple enough to replicate and i was quoted at $80 in just labor per set. and that is not including materials. so i scratched that, im all for helping out feller EF/ED/EE owners but im not gonna go broke over it.

CRX si-R, I have a friend that owns a lazer/ waterjet business. Could have a few made as a favor at least get me a set and you a set and go from there. I am pretty sue I could get a few copy's to sell to others in need for under $50. just dont know if there are that many people looking for this part. I know you said you gave that one set to your friend. Would you be interested in working together on this? Like I said, it would get me a set and would return a set to you. What you do with them is up to you.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: Fog light help!
Well I could, but any good fabricator will tell you why do all that work if you can have exact measurements and let a waterjet machine cut the brackets for you. Time is money my friend... rather than make brackets and refit and adjust over and over till they fit just right, why not bolt them up and be done.
I have been a welder/fabricator for over 40 years... I can assure you, those brackets are a walk in the park. I could tell you how to get measurements with out even having the parts on hand - but since you need a water jet cutter to be a "fabricator" I'll leave it alone...

Really dude, N3va3vaSatisfi3d, for one, dont talk **** unless you have your facts straight. second, the purpose of these forums is to help one another. By you being a ***** about things does not do anything to help anyone. By the way, your speaking to one of the most in demand off-road fabricators in southern California... I don't have time to waste on people making bs comments.... unlike you I have too much work on my hands to sit here and surf the forums 24/7. So do me a favor, go back to your chicago electric welder in your garage in the middle of bfe and build such brackets... anyways Im asking you nicely to stop waisting my time on my post.

Re: Fog light help!
Whoa, someone has their panties in a bunch... you got real butt hurt over that comment I see. I wasn't aware that Chicagoland was BFE, but ok... Am I supposed to be scared you are posing as somebody? Cool your jets cowboy, I was going to explain to you how to do it with out having a braket on hand but you brushed me off like you know "Soo" much. Oh well... have fun, I'll leave you alone now.
