Default fixed my code 1 oxygen sensor (o2) for future reference.

As soon as i turned the car to the on position it would have the light keep blinking one long blink over and over again. Well today i hooked the wideband up and noticed my iat wasnt working...so i pulled one off the hf and put it on the gsr intake. The car is reading good now and no more codes....im thinking this mighit be other peoples problems that cant get rid of turn key o2 sensor issues...i really thought i had wired something wrong but i guess not. Damn im happy now.

$500 in o2 sensors and countless hours in wiring later.................

I hope this helps many of you who can't rid your o2 sensor code because before yesterday I was unaware that IAT had a direct affect on throwing an o2 sensor code

Cool. For a couple of weeks now my car was throwing the 02 code. I changed it out and it came back. It hasn't come back yet because I had to change out the alternator twice in one week. But I will keep that in mind next time! Many thanks!!!!

Sorry to bring this post back from the dead. But I have a persistent code 1 that won't go away, so I'm desparate. Is it possible that you had a code 10 to begin with and mistaken that code for a code 1? Thanx.
