driver side window fell off the tracks...is there an easy fix?
The driver's side window on my wagon fell off the tracks...its not the first time its happened on one of my cars. My last four door did the same thing after someone tried to break into it and my old Accord from back in the day did too. On my sedan i tried to fix it but i think the regulator got bent or something because i couldnt get it aligned right, it would be fine for a while then it would fall right off the tracks again. I was thinking of just replacing the whole door on my wagon or even paying someone to fix it. Before anything though i was wondering if there was a trick or if anyone else had successfully fixed their broken windows before? TIA

The plastic tabs that hold your window in track are probably loose from your actual window glass.
I had this problem...I kept thinking the tracks were messed up but turns out the white plastic tabs that are glued to the bottom of the window glass were coming loose. I epoxied them and now everything is perfect again.

Re: (Spoon Sports)
Well it wasnt the plastic tabs on the glass, they were stuck on there pretty good. I did notice that the part of the regulator where it hinges has a little bit of play in it. If i roll the window all the way up i can pull the glass back towards the b pillar about an inch. Could this be the cause, or is this play normal? Heres a pic of what im talking about:

Well I am not sure if that play is normal, I would have to see it for myself.
But you might also want to check that metal insert that sits towards the front of the door and guides the window. That sometimes comes loose and if you tighten it back up it will take care of the problem. Let me get a diagram of the metal piece I am talking about.

Yeah i was playing with that part too...i loosened it and pushed it all the way back but the window still had play in it so i guess its the regulator thats messed up. Im gonna try to swap it out and see what happens..wish me luck.
