ROFL, if you want to feel free, you can use my pics and anything you want. I'd make a note that says make sure you wrap it all the way around the muffler because I came into some issues with pressure.

Super L33T,
I have to hand it to you man, I love your style. Homemade/ghetto is not only fun to do, but rather satisfying.

[QUOTE]Soup cans would work well too - they're a thicker steel, rather than the aluminized steel you used, : (alex Qoute)
aluminum is much lighter! hahahaha
that is the funniest **** I have ever seen on HT!
for a job well done!

Re: Do It Yourself - Exhaust Mod / Repair (MrJasey)
I got a little tired of my loud Apexi N1, so next week im gonna throw on my stock Crx Si exhaust on to my civic. I too will be doing some ghetto fabrication, but not to that extent. The end of one of the pipes rusted off, forcing the tip fall off . I just need about 4 inches of pipe added, and the tip thrown back on. Does anyone know what a stock Si exhaust sounds like on a 2 1/4 pipe, gutted cat, and supra resonator ? I guess Im going to find out soon. Btw, my N1 is not for sale if anyone is wondering.

HAHA awesome, I can sorta realate. My old muffin shooter (the name given to my old rear section exhaust that had like a 4.25 inch tip hehe) well just before the muffer that pipe got a hole in it the one day, I was like 1-2 months from getting my entire thermal catback put on the car. So I had some of there muffer mender goop stuff, a soup can, and two hose clamps. Gooped the hell outta the hole, wraped the can over it, used the two hose clamps on the end, and gooped it some more and let it dry. Only problem was the goop I used was for MUFFLERS not exhaust piping hehe. But it lasted just long enough for me to get my thermal so I was happy

Re: Do It Yourself - Exhaust Mod / Repair (civicwagonman)
So is this just the muffler, where do you disconnect it, I believe it's all one piece after the cat, I could be wrong. Does it exit at the same spot?

Fixing your existing muffler may save money but it's just simply "GHETTO".
This post is the funniest post I have seen so far.

rip your b pipe off and grab a bunch of cans. cut the ends off and use that aluminum foil to tape a whole bunch togther and make an entire system to the back with pop cans.. thad be dope.. then have like a giant coffee can where the stock muff goes.

Re: Do It Yourself - Exhaust Mod / Repair (shortyz)
Since someone brought this out of the archives I have a current question, I'm replacing the poorly repaired muffler, any ideas on a good brand for an N/A setup. I think I'm going to find a shop that supplys mandrel bent pipes and give them the muffler I choose and have them weld me up a catback. It's not the best looking way but I'm willing to lose 2HP for a $200 difference.
