Default Direct Port Nitrous

I finally got another zc after I blew my last one running a 60 shot direct port NOS kit. It was on a stock fuel system. The reason it blew was because when I engaged the nitrous the fuel pressure dropped. I know they have a nitrous cut off switch that cuts the nitrous when your fuel pressure drops but I think I will need more than that. Would running another fuel line off an auxillary fuel pump work? Or would a bigger fuel pump work? I just need some help getting it to work!!

heh yeah your nitro will cut out quit early w/.o extra fuel. i dunno why you sprayed on a motor w/o adding extra fuel in the 1st place. and adjustable fpr will help. a pump will help. injectors will help and afc will help. an a/f guage will save your motor

and i see in your sig you have an a/f guage and a fpr..

once again kids, parts are only usefull when used properly

im not trying to be an *** or anything.... you didnt see yourself leaning out on your guages or feel and knocking/hesitation?

man your really pushing the limits with that 60 direct port. I am being serious too. The rods in the ZC are very WEAK. But if you are willing to blow that motor again i would start with a fuel pump first. no need for bigger injectors with just a 60 shot.

you should be fine if your run a 255 walbro or equiv. then use highest octane fuel available. i think the pump would help you out the most, you shouldn't need to run a seperate fuel line.

haha, only a 60 shot, How come im always hearing about zc blowing with 50 and 60 shots? My freind has had no trouble spraying 70 dry on a 1.6 non vtec, brought him to a 14.4 in 98 4dr, stock everything even the shitty plastic air box. Im running 75 dp on a sohc vtec, no problems here, NX is the way to go. Oh yeah I thought NOS smallest DP shot is an 85?

I bought some smaller pills for it, the lowest ones they had were 60 shot.
