Default d16Z6 turbo...... D16Z6 longblock turbo or d16a6 w/ y8 head Turbo

Any advantages to swapping entire d16z6 motor in or just swap heads since i already have 1.6 L

Is d16z6 block any stronger for N2O ??

THX

z6 head on a6 block yields a pretty high compression ratio...not ideal for boosting.. although it certainly can and has been done..

it bolts in like stock pretty much b/c you use all the stock mounts...wiring difficultly really depends on the route you take...

is it OBD 1 ???? can I change entire harness for engine bay and interior harness and fuse box over. THX

I got a V-AFC off Ebay so i dont need no stinking RPM activated crap. I would be using Zydne also

...then you wont need to run it OBD1...just use the stock harness and run it OBD0 w/ the zdyne ecu and vafc....only a few plugs need some lengthening/modification...

You could use the obd1 ecu and then wouldnt have to worry about activating vtec and with the p28 ecu you will have fuel mapping for the vtec. Either way you wanna go....

high compression is good for n2o btw...but not to much with a stock bottom end...

Why not just run 7-8 psi on a D16a6 with a Z6 head? it will be just as fast, if not faster then a D16z6 at 10psi. The higher C/R will make up for it. Mini-me's respond quite well to forced induction.. I ran 8.5psi on mine (d15b2/z6 head) and pulled a 13.5

Jeff

(proper fuel/spark management will be needed)
