my buddy has an 89 crx si. his tach, fuel, temp gauge doesn't work. some of his warning lights don't work either. we tried a different cluster and the same thing happened. could it be a short? I checked the connections and everything seemed fine. anybody have any ideas?

Maybe a loose ground? The ground for the dash harness is on the steering column check that out and see if its loose or anything.

I'll try that out. it makes sense too since none of the gauges work.

i had the same problem in mine. the 2 plugs that go in the fuse panel r identical. reverse them and see what happens. mine is a 91 tho the panel r different but worth a shot.

look at every fuse.. inside the car and outside!
sometimes thats always the problem.. and its the one you always think of last!
