check out my situation.
aite not too long ago , i installed headers on my car. for 2 weeks car sounds fine rite. but i was on the freeway cruising at around 6k rpms and i this nasty rattling sound begin. it wasnt coming from the muffler as i thought. so today i lifted my car and inspected it. the noise was coming from the headers. they are megan headers. its 4-2-1 and the noise is coming from where the 4 and 2 connects. im pretty sure its my gasket because we were having a hard time gettin it aligned and i also heard that the megan headers comes with shitty gaskets. i assume that is the problem. but i also realize there was another o2 sensor down there that i had no idea was there. is this o2 sensor needed? cause if so , then i must of have lost it. but yea , where is a place for me to get
a quality gasket and do i need to buy a sensor?.

I had the same thing you describe and my O2 sensor was loose...
Make sure all your bolts are tight and the other things you mentioned...

get a new gasket - cheap. and/or try some mr. gasket liquid copper instant gasket - cheap. both are at the parts stores. tighten the o2 sensor like he said. i don't know if you're set-up requires two o2 sensors. mine doesn't cause it's a stock 90 civic. sometimes there is a o2 sensor on the cat, besides the one on the exhaust manifold.
