did you put in your o2 censor? i didnt put mine in right after install and it was loud, no o2 censor could be the problem or if you had a lower o2 censor sized bolt it might be missing.

Did you replace the gasket or get a new one with the header? If it is a new one and everything is torqued correctly it shouldn't have a leak. It probably does if it is that loud.

check the o2 sensor and check all of your bolts again...r you running a gasket at the inlet and outlets??? right on the block and inbetween the header itself and cat??did you put the donut inbetween the header and cat?? not sure what that donut is called but its round shaped like a donut. When i had my DC headers i forgot to put it on and my **** was leaking too...

You shouldn't have any rubber gaskets on an exhaust manifold.

You should have a stamped two-layer metal gasket between the manifold and the block, a graphite crush gasket between the upper and lower piece of the manifold, and there should be a graphite donut gasket between the lower manifold piece and the catalytic converter.

If you had any rubber gaskets, they've been incinerated by now.
