Can someone help me with ECU code interpretation
Hey everyone i just need some help with reading codes. Of course i searched the FAQ and it has apparently been answered but taken down here:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/%5Bfaq%5D-ecu-codes-trouble-shooting-468260/
I have a complete list of what code diagnoses what, i just need simple help on how to interpret the light. Does the light have any blinks that it considers "the beginning of the diagnostic test?" to let you know its starting or does it go right into the codes. also whats up with long blinks vs short blinks. just curious how to find out which code is bad, once thats the case i can check the list and diagnose further. Thanks for the help in advance

Re: Can someone help me with ECU code interpretation
The ECU has a LED light on OBD-0 vehicles... No long or short blinks - just blinks. No "start" or "stop" blinks. Only Codes... Soo 1 blink = code 1... then a pause... then 43 blinks = code 43... simple as that. They repeat over and over til the end of time - or until they are cleared.
