Buddy Club Spec II Exhaust on EF9
i will be purchasing this complete set soon but i still could not source info on the system placement
will the muffler exits on the left side (like OEM) of the bumper or the right side? it wouldn't look so good if the muffler goes out on the right side. or is this system is a straight flow?
currently this is my setup:
http://terato.com/forum/garage...=1731
http://terato.com/forum/garage...=1749
i hope that the piping can go over the rear left lower arm and the muffler goes out at where its suppose to be.
any pics of EF using this exhaust system would be very helpful.
thanks

Re: Buddy Club Spec II Exhaust on EF9 (lightningfield)
the spec II exits on the passenger side, and eliminates the final Z bend you would normally find on a stock setup.
its quite loud, enough to really attract police attention from blocks and blocks away.
although it does sound badass, keep that in mind.
dug these up for you: (NOT MY CAR)

Re: Buddy Club Spec II Exhaust on EF9 (doublethink)
ah, mine is RHD. so that means it goes out on the driver side. dang.
im aware of the consequences. this 5zigen Border 304 Speed of mine is also a screamer. but i do have the silencer ready, just in case if i stumble upon roadblocks.

yea a little bit, good eye. didnt notice that.
i think if i did one of these id trim the one side and try to use some filler on the other.

thats my car ^
Having the exit on the right side deletes 2 extra bends that u get with the side straddling oem configs.
This is prob why its considered a "competition" exhaust system.
also u can pretty much customize how tight u want it to the bumper. slip fit design
btw i got rid of it . The noise gets old if its on your daily driver.

Re: (CWBETB)
CWBETB,
why didnt you redo the piping that goes over the left lower arm like mine . it would look neater that way. its just my opinion tho.
well maybe soon i will get the exhaust shop do that for me.. in the meantime let me just enjoy this 5zigen whilst waiting for the buddy club..

That defeats the purpose of it. It's designed for competition use as mentioned by Fobtions

I paid $290 something (new) plus $30shipping for mines hehehe
*edit*
checked the price $292.94 + $30 shipping
Before I get hit with a rush of IMs, I got it from Nopi using the H-T discount. 1-80-277-6674 ext 258 {Allen}
