My Inexpensive exhaust that is working very well!!!
I bought a universal Fireball muffler and custom-made a catback piping in 2.25". I even had stock hangars welded onto the midpipe and the axlepipe. Total cost was way under $300 for the whole thing. Looks better than many catbacks since the muffler is perfectly flush with the bumper and the tone actually surprised me: it is quite deep and not buzzy, actually I'd say similar to a DC catback. I would guess power gains are just as good as on any other exhaust system, since its a straight-through muffler with 2.25" piping.
I would recommend this to anyone as a cost-effective alternative to the expensive exhaust systems.

Losol - I do not have pics, but you know what a Fireball looks like. It does not look ricey as the muffler is not sticking out from the car at all. It is flush-fitted so the tip is even with the bumper.

yah thats what im going to do for my car... was urs manderal bend or crush bend? yea i'd assume that with custom exhaust and especially with ur fireball muffler you'd get a tin can riceboy sound, but since u said it sounds cool, i think my exhaust might sound decent as well. im going to try to get my muffler to be flush with the bumper as well, but im thinkin of putin on a rear lip because i dont want people to see my muffler from the side view know what i mean?

I've got mandrel-bend piping. I suppose it is kinda a ricey sound, but no more so than any of the other mufflers. I was worried it would be high-pitched and REALLY ricey, but you can keep it quiet by just not flooring it. It is very loud though when you floor it, but know one would know you have an exhaust if you're not getting on it some.

Here's a pic of my buget exhaust. Edlebrock 2 1/4 center/center and crush bend 2 1/2 inch custom back pipe. Total cost $200.

Crush bent is not the same as mandrel bant, trust me, I had both and I only did the mistake onces, mandrel bent is alot better!!! If you go budget, go rice!!! (I'm not saying your exhaust looks rice, it looks good actually, but mandrel is better)
