I just read in a post some guy had a b16 S1 tranny....i did my ls swap that i got out of a stock usdm ls and it came with an S1 tranny...now is the usdm S1 tranny just different gearing or do i actually have a vtec tranny i just never looked at???

 

There are actually 2 S1 trannies, one was for the B16 (short gears) and the other was for the LS (long gears).

I'm pretty sure you have an LS tranny.
