Auto seat belt help!
Yesterday, i opened my passenger door and the seat belt went all of the way forward and it will not go back. The car beeped at me all the way home and was annoying as hell. When i got home I forced the belt to the retracted position and the beeping went away. My friend opened the door and it moved about halfway up and would not go back when closing the door. I moved it back again to stop the beeping. Can I just pop open the panel and unplug the motor for the passenger side belt and use it was a normal seat belt? Will the driver side still work properly? The driver side works fine and I would like to keep it working. It is only my work dd and I rarely have passengers so it wouldn't be a big deal if it stayed back the whole time and did not try and move while opening the door. Car is a 91 ef sedan if that matters.

Re: Auto seat belt help!
at the pos battery terminal theres two fuses
one is for your passenger side seat belt
if you remove that fuse you can get what you asked for
