Are you saying that you have or havent put the new tps in? If you have then did you set the voltage?

grab a multimeter tap into the wiring on the tps and adjust it. There should be two bolts that hold it on and if I remember correctly you just turn it one way or the other and the voltage should be at 5.4v iirc when WOT and 0 when closed.

Go put it in and adjust it. Just dont do it how that guy said up there^^^
To install it youll have to take a dremel and cut a slot into each of the pins on the stock tps so that you can get a screwdriver in there. Then you simply unscrew the pins that you just slotted...take off the old one and put on the new one. Dont tighten it down all the way yet...you need to be able to move it side to side.
Now you have to get a mulimeter to set the tps voltage. Backprobe the red/blk wire on the plug for the tps connector an ground it to the battery. Then turn the switch to the "on" position and check your voltage on the multimeter. It should be .45v at idle and 4.5v at WOT. If it isnt then you have to twist the tps until it reached the desired voltage.
This is all assuming that its definately the TPS. Have you checked anything else? You should check your plugs/wires and everything in the distributer. Id also check for vac leaks. Alot of things can cause this to happen.
BTW-I just noticed that live in NC...id be happy to come do the TPS for you for a small fee Good Luck man.
