90-93 integra abs axle's
will these axle's fit on a b16 swap? these axels are on his b16 swap. so i'm wondering if it would work or not, i did a search but nobody mentions anything about using abs to non-abs axles they just say 90-93 axles or soemtimes the 89 axles.

They bind when you turn..get the 90-93 integra intermediate shaft/ non-abs axles</TD></TR></TABLE>
I beg to differ. I have an ABS axle on the passenger side of my car (It was what I had laying around so I figured I'd give it a shot) and I can turn fine. No binding issues here.
Car is a 90 CRX with B18C1 and YS1 GSR cable trans. AZ Race mounts.
Ryan (droppedcrxsi) has one ABS and one non-ABS axle too. His car is fine as well.

Rings are still on. I tried for a few minutes to take them off but when they didnt come off easily with the tools I had at the time, I just figured I'd try it with them on and sure enough, it worked.

abs and nonABS are the same length, abs's just have the ring for the abs sensor. thats all. use an 90-93 integra intermediate shaft. whatever axles you have match that intermediate shaft. thats what i was told.

Re: 90-93 integra abs axle's (gutted)
cool so theoratically they should work and i should just take off that ring on the abs axles. I'm thinking of replacing both sides with those abs axles? should that be a problem? cuz i know my drivers side is making noises. so i figure if i have access to both why not just do them both at the same time.
-> and do you guys have any pictures of that ring that you guys are mentioning? and how hard would it be to take it off.

Yes, I am using ABS axles on both sides. Also be aware that axles will vary in length from one car to another.

you dont need to remove the abs ring, wont do any harm. and intermediate shafts between abs & non abs are the same. only differences are between auto & manual ones, im told. but they look pretty damn similar to me.

cool, so i'm goign to take my friends axles than :D
and i don't have to worry about the abs ring than correct. thats just my biggiest fear right now, cuz someone mentioned earlier that abs will cause my axles to buckle up when turning.
