Looks like you'll at least get it done right. That's good. The rex could definitely outpace your accord if you get into it. Not sure what your goal is with it though.

Find out what you want to do. I think the most fun thing to do would make it an autocross car. For a passenger, it is much more fun to take turns than go fast in a straight line. And for that, the B16 is a great motor. Just get some tight suspension. The Rex is light, the B16 is a very good autocross motor, and I think that would be enjoyable for your buddy too. You can even get a small turbo or a supercharger system. Keep it around 250~300, don't have to modify the motor at all for that, and keep it as responsive as possible. It would be a very fun car to drive in.

Definitely hash it out with your friend though. See what he wants and go from there. It's a pretty car and the motor is already there.

yeah thats a great point.
that actually sounds liek a great plan lol i do need a trans though, do people recommend the b16 lsd tranny? or go with a different tranny?

The B16 LSD or the GSR LSD tranny. You probably don't want the LS since it has long gears. But then again, the long gears with boost might give you a better power band for the curvey track racing. Can't go wrong with a LSD B16 tranny though.
