88 CIVC HB Front and Rear Disc Conversion Shopping List
I have searched and accumulated this information from this site. Can somebody tell me if these parts are necessary for the complete disc conversion on an 88 Civic Hatch. AM I CORRECT?
Front Swap
- 91 CRX Si / 90-93 IntegraSteering Knuckle
- 91 CRX Si / 90-93 Integra Caliper
- 91 CRX Si / 90-93 Integra Rotors
Rear Swap
- 90-91 CRX Si / 90-93 Integra Complete Trailing Arm
- Calipers
- Rotors
- Brake hose
From which cars do I pick these items from
- E-Brake Cable
- Proportioning Valve
- Booster
- Master Cylinder
Front Swap

get them all from a 90-91 Teg that doesn't have ABS....

Yes, but I would use 90-91 EX Civic Sedan knuckles instead, but a few people have said that they have had no problems using the DA knuckles....

That's what I'm thinking/hoping... Unfortunately the parts car is at my parent's house so I can't compare the two. I was just hoping to hijack this thread and get a postive answer!

New Booster not needed if you use a Civic Ex M/C 15/16 ... or maybe a Prelude M/C 15/16...
At least this is what apears to work on a 90 model Hatch.

are the 88's all drums on all four corners....or does it have front rotors? I haven't picked up the car yet...but for autox i definately want better braking.....if the 88 hatch has front rotors and I just throw the rear disc conversion on.....would that have too much rear braking bias.....?
