1990 HB starting problems
Hello HT,
I'm in need of some advice. I've had my car for a while, and since last weekend I've put the most work into it to try and get it to run. It hasn't ran since July 2007, so I'm desperate to make it run since I need it for my DD.
I recently bought an unmodified DX harness from a member on HT so that I can start from scratch when doing the DPFI to MPFI conversion. My car is a 1990 honda civic with a B18a1 swap.
I completed the conversion on the harness last Sunday, hooked most of the plugs back up on the engine, most of the in dash ones (well the important ones I believe) and I tried to turn the car over.
I got a click from inside the car from a Denso sensor, which had the numbers 056700-9410. That was the only reaction I got. It wasn't a complete attempt to make it run, I just wanted to see if I could get any life from the car.
The only thing I got was that click and my lights work, dash lights up. Strangely only my high-beams work.
My question is, why did I get no reaction from the engine to turn on?

Re: 1990 HB starting problems
I just had to replace that switch (mine was clicking too) i was told it is part of the fuel cut off. Although i have to say the car was turning over and trying to start so, it sounds like you have other problems elsewhere...hope this helps
