CRV start problem
2015 CRV, 56k miles, no other issues.
Won't always start on first push, sometimes takes three or four. In attached video it started on 2nd push.
Honda dealer mechanic tested alternator, starter and says they are fine.
Changed so far battery, push-key assembly, and key fob battery.
Any ideas?

I don't really hear anything beyond what's on the video i attached previously.
Has the starter wire spade connector been checked ?
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, i'll pass it along to the mechanic, i'm going back in this Thursday.
What is the green light on the button telling you?
Not sure which green light to check? I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary until just now, when i saw the "no key" error despite the key fob being on me, and with a fresh battery in it. Any chance this could be a key fob problem?
When issue occurs, can you still hear the starter relay clicking?

Possibly. Where are you keeping the fob? It is proximity based however I believe like Honda models of past, the fob can be dead and still start the car since the immobilizer chip in the key/fob does not require its own power (much like a tap credit card works)
not sure what you are trying to show with the video. The light turns green assumably saying car is ‘ready to start’. Do you always get the green light prior to starting?

For first 8 years of driving this vehicle, a single push would fully start the car. Now, it takes two (or sometimes even three or four), almost as if the battery is dead.
I keep the fob in my pocket always, but i can try my spare (that i never really used) and see if the problem continues.
I don't always get the light prior to starting. I'm not showing the video as much as i am showing the sound.

i'll pass your suggestions to my mechanic tomorrow, thanks for your input.

rsorl....I'm having the same problem. So frustrating. I feel it's the push button as I've had everything else checked. Since you posted in June 2023 is it still working??? To clarify....When you say the "starter" do you mean inside the engine or the push button? Thanks.
