Re: crv with civic coilovers
that grille took me 6 months to find a real one with the badge. i found one that said oh its real but the badge was stolen off. im afraid to park it in philly cause people will do that ****. my bros si, someone went up to it in the mall parkinglot and tried to rip off the si badge and just bent it in half and scratched his car.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
215/60/15 i think not 100% pos.
on another note, i removed the airbox after the filter and the tube and box that is located in the bfront bumper and installed the spoon cf elbow. i drove about 600 miles today and i averaged 27 mpg on the highway. ive never had more than 24 highway before. thats on reg gas and average 70mph so not only does it sound and look better, its better on my wallet too.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
Yea bracero, I got some no name Integra coil overs from ebay over a year ago for $40 shipped. They've been great! Arospeed may still make some for the CRV, however you may have to cut the shafts because they come too tall for the CRV. Hence the reason why I bought Integra ones this time around. I've got pictures in my thread on here.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
so i went to the guys house that my bros car is at and after finessing him a little bit i got him to let me strip down the car. i got the rear suspension, t1r exhaust and the dc 4 into 1 header with 2.5 in collecter. i am going to get started on the coilovers and the header next week when i have time to tear it all apart.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
is your crv 2wd or 4wd??
coz if its 4wd, youll have issues with the headers..
it may not clear the path with the propeller shaft, i think?
its just that theres something underneath a 4wd crv thats
gonna have an issue with the B series heasers..
i just got my GC/eibach coilovers, ill try to install it this week,
wed/thur. if the wether wil be ok, im gonna have to test it right away
coz im overlapping with my skeds for our other projs.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
its curved..
the latest aftermarket headers ive seen now is with the
4-1 design, much easier to curve the single pipe than the
4-2-1 design...
open up a new thred for this!
btt,
id like to see how they fit in the shocks/struts before you mount it...
are you gonna use an aftermarket shocks/struts for those coilover sleeves
or the oem ones??

Re: crv with civic coilovers
ok so im gonna use my stock shocks for now just cause they have 75k on them and they feel fine so i think i got plenty of use out of them. im just concerened about where the sleeve is gonna sit on the shock. the konis had a lock ring on them but i dont see that on my showa shocks.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
The coil shaft and coil should fit where the original spring was. I used my bump stoppers and I think they helped a lot. But my warning is that if you go too low, your shocks actually won't work and it will be all spring/coil. Which will cause a bumpy ride. I did it myself so I know. I think that's how I blew the front two shocks too. But I'm on OEM shocks so...

Re: crv with civic coilovers
Oh and as for the AWD header pictures, you're a lifesaver. I was going to pick up my boys DC Sports B-Series ones but now I think they won't fit. Fab work will be some money I assume if I want Tri-y's/4-2-1.

Re: crv with civic coilovers
^^
thats what my concern with other V owners out there..
they might think taht because its a B series engine, everthing
will be bolt on..some might need mods!!(a litle,somtimes..)
its a good thing few are trying to explore,
LOL!!
as for the shock/strut concerns, everything will fit thru,
its just that the coilovers might be too low/slammed that
there will be no play for the shocks/struts..
i tried a skunk2 coilover sleeves once, its mad bouncy!!
thats because i lowered it too much and it didnt match with
oem shocks/struts, but with koni(adjustable) their good..
my mechanic did try it with KYB, i think he's still using it with
his V..

Re: crv with civic coilovers
so i cant just dump it cause i wanted to go all the way down with the front and leave 1in in the rear but i guess i have to do 1in in the front and 2in in the rear. im going to sell these headers to my buddy and use the money to get crv headers.
