The new AC compressor blew up immediately.. Sounds kind of far fetched. How about how long did it take to blow up before you pressed the AC on button? Or why did you replace it in the first place?
Just a reminder, whenever you replace an AC Compressor, it is highly recommended you replace the Condenser, Evaporator, Expansion Valve, and any soft lines in the system to prevent any metal shavings from compromising the AC Compressor. Failure to do so will result in your scenario in a matter of time.
