Alternator help
I'm installing the alternator from a 1999 honda CRV, into a non honda vehicle
(no honda ECU either)
is there any easy way to manipulate the 4 wires on the alt to get it to charge? if so how/where do i put each wire?

First question is why? You may have issues with the mounting, and you don't want that thing with any slop in it or else it will cause problems. And the output power - will it be enough to charge the other vehicle's battery? Too much?
You can just change the plug harness on it. Get a wire diagram for both so you can match the proper wires up.

First I agree with the above poster about even putting it in another vehicle. The only exception being another vehicle with a B-series engine in it, like an Acura Integra. Otherwise fitment is gonna take some work, and the wiring and voltage output might not even be compatible with the vehicle.
Nonetheless, I love seeing people make cool things, so here is the charging system diagram for the CR-V that the alternator is off of. Explains what each wire does and where it goes in the CR-V, and probably any other B-series engine.
