i just put a dohc zc in my 89 civic. i used the si ecu and tranny. the car runs good and quiet but it isn't as gutsy as i hoped. i had a d16a6 in there before with the same set up and it ran as good as the zc. i had the timing done and they set it how they think it should be done. but i read somewhere that it should be set 16 deg btdc. is that right? what's wrong? please help. thanks.

zc won't be much faster than an si motor!! little more torquey down low....until you start modding it....ie
ported throttle boddy
ported intake manifold
integra ecu
injectors
fuel pump etc
