I know almost everything is interchangeable on both motors but i think i remember reading something a while back about the z6 not mounting right on the y8 head. I tried searching for the topic but didnt fint it let me know asap

i jsut put one on last night i had to use only 1 bolt and had to gridn out the hole in the distribtuor to make it fit.

the z6 and z1 distributors are the same. you can use a 92-95 cx,dx,lx dist. on the y8, or so i came up with when i was doing the research on the dist for the d15b vtec. if im wrong someone please correct me, but im 98% sure.

I'm also about 98% sure you are right, I think you can use y7 also. I use a y7 dist. on my y8

for the weirdest reason the dx/cx will match up perfecty to the y8...i tried it out the other day that i was bored with the extra motors i have laying around....oh jdm d15b $450 obo...

for OBD-1 A d15b7 dizzy will fit on a Y8
for OBD-2 a D16Y7 dizzy will fit a Y8..

a Z6 does NOT fit without modification
