Default Your Swap

Hey, I am going to be buying a longblock in a couple weeks when I get my tax return. I have the money now but I would rather wait. I know this has been discussed a couple times but I would like to hear updated and/or new opinions on where to buy a swap. Where did you buy your swap? How much did you pay for your swap? What did you think of your swap? Any other information would be much appreciated.

Without question after my previous experience with Import Auto Salvage I would not get a swap from anyone but them! My B18C1 had 87k miles on it which was also identified by the cluster from the car it came out of. When my block was torn down to be shipped out for sleeves I was told it looked like it had regular oil changes and it looked as though it should have had less than 30k miles on it. They told me the condition and they werent lying when they said unbelievable, not to mention they have fair pricing for the product you receive!

A little outdated IMO. Some companies stay strong while others start falling out.

I decided to go with JDM Inc. or IAS. Going to give IAS a call as I have talked with JDM Inc.

Definately go with IAS! Stick with a East Coast dealer.

HMO screwed me over.

hmmm i thought HMO is the best place...i guess i was biased. but for me...looks like if i want to buy a swap, i'll probably order it from IAS since i live closer to the east coast. : )

West=HMO
East=IAS
