You even think its worth it?
oops, worth it
Well I've been thinking a lot lately after selling my R and I got this Civic coupe. I got a killer deal on it but I only got it as a daily beater. I made some money from my R and the performance bug has bitten, hard. I'm still searching for an S13 coupe (rare) with plans for a SR20DET, but while I'm waiting I've already bought some cosmetic goods for my civic.
Here's my deal, my civic has a flooded title, which is bad if I plan on selling the car. Should I even start modding this car? I keep thinking of a certain B series motor to swap in there, then comes the suspension goodies...well you see what will start happening. The only good thing about all this is I can now afford to mod the hell out of it, unlike when I had the R, took forever to save up and mod it.
So my question is, should I even bother modding a flooded/salvage titled car?
thanks for your input,

I would. I mean, if the chassis is in good condition, then what harm would the flood actually have done? A perfect excuse to do that swap you've always wanted. If you totally change the motor out (and the chassis wasn't damaged somehow) then you're set

I believe but dont quote me.. that if you restore the car, you can get the water damage off the title. Check with the proper authorities to be sure tho. Good luck

if you look at it from a technical stand point . In a flood the engine and other various parts of the car are damaged . Well if you swap the motor out and so on . Then in a sence you have restored the car , Granted its a different motor and so on(Goes faster :Martha Stewart says "This is a good thing" ROFLMAO) So in reality it really isn't a flooded car anymore . But thats just my opinion .
