Y21 explodes??
I have a JDM B16A SiR II, with a Y21 transmission.
I noticed that a hole has been created on the bottom side of the tranmission close to where it mates to the engine. The hole looks like it blew outward, (not inward)
It happened just after I started the car and started to drive away.
Any ideas?

Re: Y21 explodes?? (hondapwr)
I was able to pull a piece of aluminum off quite easily while I was trying to blot up the oil leak.
Inside the piece I pulled off, I noticed several scrapes.
The hole is right next to where the shifter linkage attaches. I can see the gear inside!
