Would bigger injectors/fuel pump, high flow rail, regulator be good for my set up?
Basically what it says, I'm getting new cams, cam sprockets, and valve springs/retainers for spring time( ) and just need some opinions about hookin up the fuel system. Is it benneficial for a fuel system upgrade on my set up (NA), alright **** it, B16a 1st gen, CAI/H/E, Intake mani, 67mm TB, port polished head, 10.3mm plug wires, race coil, distributor cap, ignitions all crane cams, mugen chipped p28, vafc, no ac/ps. And like I mentioned, dropping new internals in spring, hopefully new rods/pistons end of summer too, and then boost. But untill my dreams come true, Im building slowly, and just want some opinions on the whole fuel aspect of it, oh yeah and what size injectors are good for now.
Thank you for your opinions and facts. **** a girlfriend, build your car, HAPPY HOLIDAYS

i would say that you do not need to up your fuel system in till you go turbo, but if you do decide to be sure to get it tuned so you aren't runnign rich.

I have a good amount of air pressure coming and going through my engine now though, far more than stock, but not as near as boost, dont you think I could gain any??? Definite tune up after install of cams/gears will be needed
Thanks for reply

you wont need to do anything, MAYBE upgrade the injectors to like 370's or something and be done with it, and get anf fpr just so you know your fuel pressure

Yeah, thats what I was thinking for now just go with the bigger injectors, and a regulator.
But would doing it all in one shot hurt more than it would help?
Thx for reply

well how do you plan on tuning all of these new things, just with an fpr? the v-afc wont be able to take enough fuel away if you were to get like 450's 255 pump et cetera it would still run lean as hell, i suggest getting hondata or uberdata, cause you would have free reign over your fuel maps et cetera, also when u go turbo both can be used to tune it equally

You ABSOLUTELY do NOT need larger fuel anything right now, even with all those mods you got or are getting. Bolt your parts on and get your car tuned and be done with it till you go boost. Boost will dictate what your fuel requirements are at that time. Upgrading your fuel system now is totally unnecessary and could very possibly hurt your performance if you over do it.

yeah, I hear Hondata is the road to take when it comes to tuning, all in time. I am gonna just go with bigger injectors and a fpr, install my internals, get a good tuning, and have fun come spring/summer. Save my bread for that boost!
Well thanks all for replies, anymore are still welcome. Catch ya's lata, drive hard, race through heavy traffic, and school zones of course, and B ez 0n Da Nawwz y0!
