Default Working on a D16Y8......

What are your guys opinion on building up a D16Y8? I know it's not gonna be like swapping out the motor and stuff. But i don't want to do that because I want to leave the stock motor in. Do you guys think this is even worth it?

Depending on how fast you want to go, Like AzCivic said if you go turbo you will be ok. Lowest I have seen is 12 sec range but it is real easy to come by fast times. Vitara pistons turbo kit and AFC hack.
