Default d16y8 build

Hey im new but im building a d16y8 and with a vortech supercharger,i want to get some ideas and some advice on the supercharging because the d16y8 in high compression and ive heard thtat to turbo or super a d16 you need to sleeve the pistons,get new pistons many many things but i want to hear input on others who have built their d16's so any and all advice is extremely helpful!

I suggest going turbo instead. There's a lot of info in this site. Search for Turbo in the Forced Induction section. You'll find all the info you need. You can also go to d-series.org.

do more research on how each setup works.
turbo vs Supercharger and figure out which is best for you. each has their own advantages which might match your needs.

also, its hard to gauge what to recommend to you if we dont know your goals and budget. There are so many different ways to go about building up the motor. it all depends on the amount of $$ you want to spend.
