Wont start Roll it IT STARTS?????? HELPHELP***
Okay. I have had this prob for about 3 weeks now. Now it died it front of my house. the check engine light is on but will not throw a code, I rolled the car forwerd and the check engine light went off and I was able to start it. (when it is started it runs like ****..when i try to drive it the check engine light comes on and off and the tach jumps up and down like mad. so I turn it off roll it up alittle bit till the check engine light comes on and it will not start, So i got out and checked to see if it had spark when the check engine light is on. (it had no spark) i roll the car about 6 inchs till the check engine light pops off and it starts and has spark.????????????????????Can anyone help? Thanks I did a search for about 10 min I was just to tired to look anymore. I will check back in a hour or so. Thanks guys.

Damn that sounds crazy, i know my friend with a GSR hatch his starter was just bad so we had to roll it and pop start it, but thats definatly not the case for you, you might want to ask a technician, because your problem might not be able to be solved here on h-t.... but im sorry i could give you and help, i guees just check the main things you think might be wrong with it, wiring, starter?? im not sure though. good luck and hope it's nothing too serious!

your ignition control module may be going bad(ignitor) your crank angle sensor may be going bad or getting a false reading due to bearings, your coil my be going bad or all of the above. the only way is to have some use a volt meter on the components inside the distributor
