do you have any cel? maybe it's a loss of compression? IMO, you should always let the car warm up before driving.

no cels at all. i usually leave my car on for like 45 sec then i drive slow before i take it past 4k i dont have time to wait for it to fully warm up i leave for school at 550am. i dont know why it started doing this outta no where, i haven't messed with anything engine-wise for a few weeks, and i'm getting a new intake mani in tomorrow i dont wanna install it if my motor isn't run right.

If so what are they?
Sounds like map sensor to me.</TD></TR></TABLE>
not only would a map sensor cause a cel, but it would act this way regardless if the engine is hot or cold.

it'll cause problems with starting, or if it's really bad, your gauges might go crazy, and loss of electrical power.
i'm still going to stick with loss of compression, do a compression test then post the numbers so we can see if they are good #'s.

yes pepboys should have it, our any parts store for that matter.
worse case scenerio, you have bad rings, or headgasket, or both.
i wouldn't say you're going to loose your motor. it should be fine as long as you catch and repair the problem on time.
how many miles do you have?

it has about 40k miles i bought it with "30k" miles according to the previous motors, damn i wish i know more about cars back when i bought the motor i would've checked so many things. well i'm on my way now to pepboys hopefully its nothing bad and if it isn't a compression problem then iat least i finally have a tester just in case
any other opinions while i'm gone would be great please help me fix my motor
