Default wiring question? D15B into a non-vtec car.......

Hi, I have 1992 Civic 4 door, that had an automatic D15 non-vtec engine. The motor recently blew the head gasket and warped the head, anyway I am replacing the motor with a JDM D15B Vtec motor and tranny. Will i have to change the engine harness, or will the motor work fine w/ me just plugging in the new ECU and swapping the motor in? Any help would be appreciated!

thx in advance!

Default Re: (1meangsr)

you can use your old harnes. u just have to wire up vtec from the selenoid to the cpu.

you will also need a p28 ecu or a p08 or your old computer reprogrmed to either p28 or p08
