wiring power door locks
i want ur opinion on this topic. i own a 1992 civic cx and i was thinking about getting a car alarm with a keyless system like my old accord. thing is u kno our cheap civics dont have power door locks lol. cept the si? right. the thing is i have no idea how to wire it in, but i have pretty good electrical skills if you give me a diagram. so my questions are
1. think an ameteur like me can do it?
2. whats the best place to buy lock actuators etc for power door locks
3. aren't they all universal? i have no idea how they work until i see one
4. wiring it to the alarm. super easy right?

Re: wiring power door locks (jxmac2o6)
dude you for sure can do it
its less wires than a stereo, the only tricky part is getting the wires from the alarm/door control unit to the actual lock, u gota follow the rest of the wires like the speaker wire!

just be prepared for the little plastic thingy inside the car that locks the door to break, so when your car is on you wont be able to get out. well at least that happend to me LOL.
Apparently the acculators broke it, only on drivers side though.
