wiring help!!

hey i just bought a 94 honda civic ex im planning on doing a b20 swap in it but it had a d16z witch is a vtec motor i wondering can i use the vtec wiring harness on a non-vtec engine if so what do i have to do to the wiring harness. or is it easier to just swap a non-vtec underhood wiring harness in it.
