wiper delete solution.
I looked through what seemed like endless threads about this and either the pics were dead, or it didn't show the portion that i was looking for.
I have a 93 si and im trying to delete the wiper arm. I pulled the black plastic box out and removed the motor and saw that the latch for the hatch ( i kill me) was attached (roflcotper) to the inside of the black box. my issue is, how did the rest of you remount your black box? if i tighten down the single bolt, the box is loose and the glass wont shut as id like it to. the only other solution ive seen is to get the glass out of a non wiper eg.
if anyone wants to share your mounting solution, I'd greatly appreciate it. thanks in advance!!!

do what i did when i pulled my antenna.. instead of wasting money on a block off plate i got my welder and grinder out.. cut a peice of thin steel and shaped it to the hole.. tacked it in place ran full bead round it. sanded it down and threw some mud on it.. then primer with some sealer..

while i would love it to be that simple, im referring to the hole thats left in the glass, and am trying to get the wiper box to stick to the glass so that my hatch will shut correctly. but thanks for helping!

get the black box assembly from an EG w/o rear wiper. Both EG's with and w/o the rear wiper use the same glass with the holes. They just have plugs on the holes.

You can probably even find what you need at the dealership from a lower trim model.

I think you need #15 the striker and some other associated nuts and bolts.
