window problem

Default window problem

last night a rolled my driver window down in my 97 civic and it won;t go back up! when you push the switch it will start to roll it up but stop after bout an inch and same goin back up, it's stuck half down and freezing outside....any ideas??

did you try taking the door panel off to see if theres anything wrong inside you might just have to grease it up..

i took it apart a little bit ago, just seems like its seized up, the right side of the window is like on the outside of the rubber instaed of the inside but i can't get the window to move to fix it

So its caught in the window channel? Will it move if you take the window channel out? Take the channel out then put it back in x]. Thats what I would do.

i took it apart and it was just out of the channel track, got it back together and it works great! thanks

This has probably happened to 1 in every 3 EK owners, its a known problem with these cars.
