window keeps coming off track
96 coupe .. window started coming off track, i fixed it thinking i wouldnt have the problem anymore but since then i've had the door panel off 3 more times fixing it. I'm pretty sure im doing everything right but does anyone have any info on what could be causing this or some tips or some ****? thanks

mine kept on doing that too..i probably took out my right door panel 3 or more times coz the window kept on falling off the brackets.
i just took out the bottom screws that holds the brackets and placed eveything back together.after that the window never came off the brackets but youll just hear a loose knocking sound since nothin is holding the brackets but it aint that bad.

i've gone through that about a 10+ times. its no biggie i can fix it in like 10- minutes. its starting to get on my nerves. i think i might have messed up the actuator??? is that what its called? anyone know how much those go for?

are you talking about the bolt that holds the front rail on? And are you talking about power or manual windows? my windows are manual.

the rubber molding on the right hand side of the door (farthest from the mirror) is what i believe is causing the problem. The molding is folder under itself and not letting the window slide all the way into it. Since its not sliding into it, its easily popping back off the track.. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get that molding to stop folding under itself so I can slide the window into it fully

its called a run channel, u can get them from Honda for like 75 bucks, i replaced that and the actuator on both sides and my windows feel like brand new.

75 bucks for that little rubber strip? thats ridiculous.. i'd rather have no windows then pay 75 dollars for that rubber strip. i could probably **** that strip out for cheaper

like i stated above i've had the same problem even with that "run channel" what i did was i put the window back in its track rolled it up while i unfolded the run channel then i parked out in the scorching sun for a most of the day. it WAS working fine for a couple of months until yesterday!!!!

I can't get the window completely back into the track because of the rubber piece... that is my problem

in having problems with the window inside the door.. the rubber is folded over in the channel that isnt visible unless u take the door panel off

Just spray a bunch of WD40 or any silicon spray down the rubber runners, seemed to help mine, if you do it weekly you shouldnt have a problem, plus using a can of WD40 is much easier than fixing it every other day...hope it helps
