Default wilwood vs rotora? vs other?! daily driver 99 si

I was looking to upgrade to a big break kit not only for the stopping power but for asthetic reasons as well. I will be running a greddy turbo @ 7psi will be a daily driver in the summer with 17" wheels question is what brake kit is best? best bang for the buck is the rotora worth all the extra that the wilwood is not any opinions on both thanks

So this is a daily driver? Why do you think you need a big brake kit? Cause you're going to be pushing 7psi? My friend with a turbo GSR in a 93 coupe on 8 pounds can stop just fine and his brakes the biggest pieces of **** in the world. And IMHO, 'asthetic reasons' is a lame reason to get a big brake kit.

Now if you said you were going to be tracking this car every week that would be a whole different story. But even then, you wouldn't need a big brake kit.

I'll tell you what I think would be good for you, then I'll try and answer your question. For daily driving, just get some brembo blanks (stock size) and hawk or ultimaxx pads. I have blanks and hawk pads and my car stops GREAT. Plus it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. If you get a big brake kit, you're going to have to spend a good amount of money to replace the pads and rotors.

As for you question, I've heard great things about willwood. If I was to ever get a brake kit, I would go with them over rotora.

I'm not trying to knock you or anything, merely trying to give you a broader range for your brake set-up.

If your really interested in this I would suggest getting some stock size brembo rotors that are X-drilled/slotted. That way you can say you have X-drilled and slotted rotors lol, have the same cooling ability as the big brakes and not all of the added weight the comes with the big brake setups. Good Luck
