Will a STOCK integra type R airbox fit a 99-00 civic?
Will the Stock airbox off a integra type r fit a 99-00 civic? Any mods you have to do to make it fit.. i was told that the chambers are different then the Si one.. and would be a benefitial mod..? enlighten me

I haven't seen the ITR airbox, but if its like the gsR airbox, then u can make it fit a 92-95 chassis - true, it sits a bit high, but there's clearance (not the greatest). You have to remove the "leg" that sits next to the radiator-hose (use a dremel, or hack it off), then bolt it down with the 1 mounting point that lines up (right on the side of the shock tower), and then you'll have to drill 1 hole for the "leg" infront of the box, it sits on that flat part behind the headlight. After that, get a clamp that bites tighter that the stock one (or try the stock civic clamp), after that, hook up any hoses and your str8. PS. yes there is a little difference (I have a '93 Si hatch)

It's less than 1/2 the price of a comptech airbox. I'm getting it used.
