My mom recently had her car smoged and the dood said my car wouldnt pass smog because the intake wasnt "original". Can anyone confirm if this is true? if not, how do you guys get your supped up hondas to pass smog?

i usually doesnt, but in california, if you have a modified intake system, you will fail the "visual" part of the smog inspection. that is if the intake is not CARB exempt. some smog shops wont care about intakes b/c they kno that you'll pass tailpipe fine. but more and more shops wont let things slide now b/c theyve been cracking down on lenient smog shops. i went to 8 different smog shops, and none would even touch my b16.
