WHAT DO YOU THINK IS BETTER GSR ECU OR P30 FOR BY 96HB B16 .....ANY SUGGESTIONS.....
I GOT GSR ECU RIGHT KNOW AND A CHIP FOR VTEC TO KICK IN AT 4400 RPM BUT SOME PEOPLE WERE TELLING ME TO GO WITH P30 CAUSE VTEC WILL KICK IN A LOT HARDER...

VTEC WILL NOT KICK IN A LOT HARDER. IT WILL KICK IN LATER LIKE HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO IN A B16. THE 4400VTEC X-OVER IS MEANT FOR THE GS-R WITH THE SECONDARIES.
EDIT: why the hell do you need a chip for vtec to kick in at 4400 on a p72. thats when vtec crosses over stock.

hey black-ek... use a P30 ecu if you can but if u cant just get a chipped p28 with the p30 fuel maps and ur set.
the p72 will burn a tad richer and is not an exact match for the b16... u can do it but a p30 or the p28 chipped with a p30 fuel map will be much better

so you think i should go with a p28....also what do you think a stock b16a on a hatch should run quarter mile....cause i just ran it this past weekend at palmdale and my best time was a 15.2...

how heavy was ur car? haha A couple of guys on here have gotten it into the low 14's to high 13's. I say shoot for mid-high 14's
And yes go with the P28 chipped with a P30 fuel map and the vtec cross over around 5.5k or a tad lower if u wish ( i wouldnt go below 5.25k though... because it sucks to be at 5k and in vtec while you are going 80mph.)

i dont know but is all full interior no intake just n1 spoon exhaust..and it was my first time out in the track im gonna go this weekend to fontana but im going to take rear seat out and fron right seat..and just got my intake on...im hoping mid 14's.....
