will d16y8 manifold and tranny fit and work on my 93 vx??????
all i need to know if this **** will work on my shitty little vx motor its a d16y8 intake manifold with erics throttle body and d16y8 tranny will this work in my car>>????? thanks

cummon guys please help me out here im ******* lost i dont know if this **** will work or not and i know someone does know im so lost with the vacum lines and **** please please help me out here...... thanks

tranny will fit fine, you'll notice the difference in acceleration... about the manifold though... you may be better off swapping out that vx motor... pretty sure you can't build too much on it, if you're looking to save money, a d16z6 or d16y8 may be good paths to take... they can also be had for relatively cheap

thank you soooo much for helping me but do you know if the manifold will fit because the vx manifold is sooo tiny and restrictive and what do you think the acceleration gain would be?? once again thank you Beau

It will fit, but has some minor issues to work out. Do a search for "d18y8 manifold" and look for install tips. As was stated above, the VX is designed to run lean so adding more air may not give you a worthwhile gain. Your best bet would be to install an entire z6/y8 head for a mini-me set-up.
