i just got a 99 GSR cluster for cheap, and i wanted to put it into my coupe.(94) will this work? i have the wiring diagrams, and i'm not affraid to cut, so does anyone know?

i know that it can work cause i have seen it, but i just cant say that i know how to do it. sorry, but dont give up hope cause it can be done. good luck

yes it will work but modifications to the mounting and fit will need to be made. then comes the wiring which is rather simple when you compare it to the mounting it.

you can also just get a 94 or 95 integra whole underdash harness and match colors on the blue and green plugs (if i remember right) and the gray plug is the same...you also have to change uf deffogger and other switches unless you goto the TEG dash....

so whats the diff from the 98 gsr and the 99 gsr cluster?? so far i can't see any. but i can't see the back of the 98cluster. it seems the 99 has three plugs. is this true.

I do believe they are the same, I can see why they'd be different.

My question is: Do you need I guess the hiring harness from the GSR? Because I have mine sittin on my desk and I want to start to put it in. Thanks fellas.

im not sure it will.. i remember a fellow member Migs said that the 99+ clusters didnt run off the a tach wire, but from the ecu or something and he has put a whole dash into his old civic.. i currently have a 96 gsr cluster in my civic, i did all the wiring and got to fit in there, just havent had time to go back and mold it perfectly..

okay i now know that the 99 GSR clust work directly off the ecu, using a dig signal, and not a electric ananlog, like the 98. so the answer to the question is no it will not work. DAMM

Not sure if the 1998 Integra cluster resembles the 1999 or not, but go to the geocities link posted and take a look at the layout of the cluster (front side), if it looks similar you may want to just go for it. The backside of the cluster looks similar to mine. I no longer know what year mine is, but after a lot of fiddling it works. My problem was the wiring harness and the gauge cluster were different years--or at least that is what I am going to go with at this time cause my wiring harness colors match that of the diagram listed in the geocities link, but doesn't work if wired up that way so I had to configure the wires to this one:

I had to realize the wire harness doesn't matter because the metal circuitry behind the gauge cluster it was it reads off as well as the existing behind the dash harness. So if you do this, focus more on the wire function to function (pin read outs).
