Default Will a 95 civic OBD1 dizzy fit on a 92 civic EX head?

I bought one fo ra mini-me but the holes do not line up, when they are supposed to, but I think it may be because of different years, maybe not. Can anyone confirm this?

Else how can i tell what civice model/year a dizzy is from?

thanks

all 92-95 civics take the same distributor, now 96-00 has a different bolt pattern

The VTEC dizzy`s and non-VTEC sohc dizzy`s are a little different but they will go onto the cam.

I believe bolting a non-VTEC dizzy to a VTEC head won`t have the correct bolting points, but it WILL bolt up.

The dist will work, but I would recommend purchasing a OBD1 VTEC distributor.

Ya, a boosted SOHC (D16Z6) I worked on was using a non-vtec dizzy, and only 1 bolt lined up (ghetto!), but we were replacing the headgasket and switched to a DX ported head -- whaddaya know -- they lined up!

i was looking for a Z6 dizzy and that i am was that was, but ti does not line up to the Z6 vtec head, maybe it is non-vtec.

thanks for the replies, I have the A6 on for now, will convert when I can get a hold of one.
